Slender

ONUFC-Sponsored Event

The Club held its first Halloween event in October 2013, the Slenderman mythos-based game, Slender. Once the sun set, participants wandered through the campus woods in teams to find pieces of paper that may or may not save them from the denizens wandering the woods along with them. The first team that gathered all the papers won a prize!

The game has since become an annual event that gathers more horror-loving students every year.

The Slenderman mythos originated in Something Awful Forum's "Create Paranormal Images" board and evolved into multiple Alternate Reality Games in the most popular form of video blogs over several years. ONUFC's game is primarily based on the video blog Marble Hornets and the computer game Slender: The Eight Pages.
